A Community Heroes event from 10:30-11:15 a.m. June 29 will feature first responders and their vehicles at Meadowbrook Park, 9101 Nall Ave., Prairie Village.

Firefighters, Park Police and emergency workers will share what they do to young and older attendees. Emergency vehicles will be on display for close-up looks and pictures. Snack included.

Event for ages 1-4 with an adult is $3 per child, $4 for nonresidents.
