Renew your vehicle registration

The State of Kansas requires you to renew your vehicle registration yearly. The renewal costs includes registration fees and personal property taxes. After payment is submitted you will receive a current year decal to be placed on your license plate.

You can renew online using iKan. Log in, and click “Renew a Vehicle” to get started.  You’ll then be guided through the process to complete your renewal online.

Pay your property taxes

Using our online property search, you can pay your property taxes online. Additionally, you can view your current and previous year’s bills and print receipts. You can search by Address, Parcel, ID, Quick Ref ID or Name.

Once you look up your property, you will see your property tax bill, which you can pay online. You can also submit payment under protest.

Pay your wastewater bill

You can pay your wastewater bill online using Johnson County Wastewater's online payment portal. Additionally, you can manage your account and submit requests or inquiries.

To use the online payment portal, you will need to register for an account with your customer number. Once registered, click "Pay Now,” and locate your account. Then you will see your wastewater bill, which you can pay online anytime.

  • Support Enforcement Fees (District Court Trustee) - make payment for Kansas child support and maintenance (spousal support) via the Kansas Payment Center.
  • Library Fines and Fees - Pay your Johnson County Library fines and fees online.
  • Law Library Registration Fees - Lawyers can pay their annual registration fee to the Law Library using this online application.
  • MED-ACT Ambulance Billing - Pay your Med-Act bill quickly and securely with EMS|MC.
  • Court Fees - Access Johnson County District Court cases and pay fees if applicable.
  • Corrections Fees - Pay your Johnson County Corrections fees online.
  • Environmental Fees - Pay residential trash and recycling hauler fees, swimming pool inspection fees, and septic system construction repair and resale inspection fees.

  • CHAMPSS - Meal Plans - add meals to your CHAMPSS card or donate meals for others using this store.
  • Home-Delivered Meals Donations - this program provides nutritious meals to frail elderly homebound residents who are 60-years of age or older.
  • JCDS Emerging Artists - Support JCDS by purchasing artwork from the Emerging Artists program.
  • JCDS Papercrete Works - Help provide community integrated employment for people with an intellectual or developmental disabilities by purchasing unique and well-crafted product made by many hands.
  • Child Care Licensing - this program provides online and in person training for people seeking to open a child care operation in Johnson County. Register and pay for classes here.
  • Mental Health Training - Johnson County Mental Health Center provides a variety of community education courses that help the public identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health conditions, substance use disorders and suicide prevention.
  • Contractor Licensing - all Johnson County contractors can use this online application to register for classes, pay for new (and renew) license.
