Storytime features Santa visit

A man dressed as Santa Claus gives the signal to be quiet

Ernie Miller Nature Center, 909 N. K-7 Highway, Olathe, is offering a Santa Storytime from 10 to 11 a.m. Dec. 10, featuring winter stories, live animals and a visit by Santa.

After storytime, children will have an opportunity to visit with Santa individually and tell him what they want for Christmas with the opportunities for adults to take photos of their little ones while they visit with Santa. Children will also enjoy a sweet treat after their visit.

The nature center is operated by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.

The holiday event, for all ages with an adult, is $7 per Johnson County person, including adults, and $8 per nonresidents. Infants less than 1-year-old are free. Program fee is nonrefundable.
