The office of the County Clerk is located in the County Administration Building, 111 S. Cherry St. Suite 1200 Olathe, KS 66061. The County Clerk is responsible for the following:

• Calculating and preparing tax levies based on budget submissions from taxing jurisdictions
• Preparing real estate, personal property, and state assessed tax rolls for certification to the County Treasurer
• Updating ownership on the tax roll based on recorded documents with the Register of Deeds office
• Maintaining base level mapping of all taxing units in the County to submit annually to the State of Kansas Property Valuation Department
