Community residents identified the top five opportunities for the county to increase satisfaction and commit resources. Aging and Human Services topped that list again this year followed by mental health services, Sheriff’s Office, public health services and protect the environment/natural resources. Residents identified the most critical role for Johnson County Government in the next 10 to 20 years as making sure that necessary health and human services are available.

A summary of the survey results reflects most residents have a positive perception of Johnson County.

Although satisfaction with county services has decreased slightly, most decreases are less than the national average and Johnson County is setting the standard for service delivery in most areas.
