50 Plus offers virtual programs during summer

The Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s 50 Plus Program has a variety of virtual programs for the summer.

The Arthritis Foundation exercise program features a trained instructor to cover various range-of-motio and endurance-building activities, relaxation techniques and a social environment. This class is available every from 11a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Wednesday by Debbie Shearer.

If games and alliterations are more your style, participate in Scattergories from 10 to 11 a.m. on July 26, Aug. 15 and Aug. 29. Program lead by 50 Plus staff.

Gardening advice will be offered during the “Virtual Coffee and Gardening Conversation” from 2 to 3 p.m. Aug. 1 by a Master Gardener from Johnson County K-State Extension.

All virtual programs are presented over Zoom.
