Update on JCDHE's seasonal flu vaccine supply
As of June 21, 2019, the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment (JCDHE) has exhausted its supply of the seasonal flu vaccine for adults and children. The flu vaccine is still available at various pharmacies, retail stores, doctor's offices, and urgent care centers in Johnson County. Enter your zip code in the Flu Vaccine Finder to find a vaccine provider near you.
When our seasonal flu vaccine for the 2019-20 season arrives, we will update this page with the date of availability.
The best way to protect yourself from getting the flu is to receive the flu shot. The vaccine is safe and effective. JCDHE encourages everyone over the age of 6 months to get the flu shot.
