The Johnson County Northeast Office was built in 1972 to provide services to the citizens in the northeast part of the County. The Department of Motor Vehicles has one of its two offices at this site, as well as the Department of Health and EnvironmentMental Health Department, and Aging and Human Services Department provide services at this location.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., except major holidays

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is a supplemental food and nutrition education program that serves financially eligible women, infants, and children under the age of five. Call 913-826-1302 to schedule your appointment.

  • Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
  • Thursday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
  • Friday: CLOSED

Aging and Human Services

The Human Services division of the Aging and Human Services department provides social services to individuals and families in need living in Merriam, Mission, Prairie Village, Roeland Park, Leawood, Fairway, Westwood and parts of Overland Park. Services include utility assistance, food pantry, referrals and resources.
