Micro Transit
Johnson County is excited to offer RideKC Micro Transit, an affordable, on-demand, shared ride service. This service allows passengers to book and pay for rides without needing advance reservations.
Service Hours: 7 days a week, 6 AM – 8 PM
How Micro Transit works in Johnson County
Request a Ride:
- Mobile App: Book a ride within the service area using the RideKC Micro Transit app. Just enter your destination and request a ride.
- Phone: Call 816-512-5510 to book a ride by phone.
Pay your Fare:
- $5.00 for the first 5 miles
- $2.00 per additional mile
- Pay through the RideKC Micro Transit app or with exact cash in the vehicle.
Enjoy the Trip:
- Your ride will be as direct as possible, but other passengers may be picked up or dropped off along the way.
- Accessible vehicles are available upon request.
