RideKC Microtransit is now RideJoCo Microtransit, Johnson County’s on-demand, shared-ride service. The service area, hours and fares remain the same.
Book and manage your rides
- Download the RideJoCo app from Google Play
- Download the RideJoCo app from the Apple App Store
- Use the RideJoCo online portal to create an account, book rides and manage your trips without the mobile app.

About RideJoCo Microtransit
RideJoCo Microtransit is Johnson County’s on-demand, shared-ride transportation service. It provides curb-to-curb trips within the Microtransit service area.
Unlike a fixed bus route, RideJoCo Microtransit does not follow a set route or schedule. Customers request rides when they need them, and the service may match passengers traveling in the same general direction.
Service hours: Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
RideJoCo Microtransit is an on-demand service. Advance reservations are not required.
Use the mobile app
Open the RideJoCo app. Enter your pickup location and destination, review the trip information and request your ride.

Call 913-362-3500 and select option 3.
Fares and payment
- $5 for the first five miles
- $2 for each additional mile Pay through the mobile app or with exact cash when you board. Drivers cannot make change.

RideJoCo Microtransit is a shared-ride service. Your trip will be as direct as possible, but the vehicle may pick up or drop off other passengers along the way.
The app will provide your pickup instructions and an estimated arrival time. Be at the designated pickup location and ready to board when your vehicle arrives.

Accessible vehicles are available. Tell us about your accessibility needs when requesting your ride.
Riders younger than 16
Riders must be at least 16 years old to ride alone. Riders younger than 16 must travel with an adult.
