Donations

Individuals wishing to make a donation to Catch-a-Ride, CHAMPSS, Food Pantry, Neighborhood Nutrition Centers or Home Delivered Meals can donate online. Mail-in donations are also an option.
Catch-a-Ride is a social service program that provides volunteer transportation to adults 60+, people with a disability, and others 18+ who are not able to drive and do not have access to other means of transportation.
CHAMPSS (Choosing Healthy Appetizing Meal Plan Solutions for Seniors) is a creative dining option offered by the Area Agency on Aging for older adults 60+ and their spouses seven days a week from 8 a.m.–7 p.m. at several participating Hy-Vee locations in Johnson County.
Food Pantry Program - Access to food is a top priority for Johnson County Aging and Human Services, ensuring low-income individuals, seniors, and families do not go hungry. Your support helps stock our food pantries, providing essential groceries so neighbors in need can stretch their budgets for other vital expenses like medication and housing.
Home-Delivered Meals provides hot nutritious meals to homebound older adults 60+ and their spouses Monday - Friday.
Neighborhood Nutrition Centers provide a hot nutritious meal at seven neighborhood centers in Johnson County. A hot lunch is available for anyone 60+ and their spouse Monday - Friday.
