Johnson County Mental Health Center (JCMHC) administers outpatient treatment services for individuals experiencing an alcohol or opioid use disorder, outpatient tobacco assessment and counseling services designed to meet the needs of individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. 

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

JCMHC offers Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), for individuals experiencing an alcohol or opioid use disorder.  The MAT program requires that in addition to the medication, participants are active clients of JCMHC and adhere to all treatment recommendations which may include case management and therapy. JCMHC does have limited grant funds for those who qualify as well as accepts various insurance and prescription assistance programs to assist with out of pocket costs.

Tobacco Cessation Services

JCMHC offers outpatient tobacco assessment and counseling services designed to meet the needs of individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.  Outpatient clients receive individual counseling and length is based on symptom severity and progress in treatment.
