Imagery is a very important aspect of the GIS and mapping world, the old adage a picture is worth a thousand words could be changed to a picture is worth a thousand maps. We could make many maps of an area but without actually seeing an image we may never fully understand the map.

Currently AIMS maintains three different Johnson County-wide imagery datasets, each one has its own uses and specifications.
