Each year Johnson County, Overland Park and Shawnee, Kansas receive federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership funds for housing and community development projects from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The community wants YOU to have a voice in how these funds are invested. As a condition of receiving funds, Johnson County, together with Overland Park and Shawnee, must submit a five-year Consolidated Plan to HUD outlining its housing, homeless and community development strategies and goals. The following nine questions ask for your opinion regarding these communities and their needs. Responses will be used to develop the Johnson County, Overland Park and Shawnee Consolidated Plans for years 2020-2024. Please see survey links below. All responses are anonymous and will be accepted through May 31, 2019.
