The SFMP is a guide for the effective use and development of County facilities and land supporting operations and services.  

The first SFMP was created by Facilities Management in 2001.  Each year a review and modification of the plan occurs as necessary to adapt to changing needs.

The SFMP guides the County in future decisions related to:

• Properties to buy or sell
• Buildings to renovate or expand
• New construction of facilities
• Relocating departments and staff
