Summer is coming soon, and so is outdoor pool season throughout Johnson County. Johnson County, as well as cities across the county, are currently hiring to staff their pools and aquatic centers, and lifeguards are in high demand.

Johnson County Park and Recreation’s Aquatics Department is hiring for a variety of positions this summer, including lifeguard, head guard, swim lesson instructor, marina worker and front desk attendant. Staff are needed at Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center, Shawnee Mission Park Beach, Shawnee Mission Marina and Kill Creek Beach.
