Board of County Commissioners Monthly Recap: July 2023

Here are highlights of the Board of County Commissioners’ actions and activities in July 2023.

Contracts for In-Home Services

Authorized term and supply contracts with 14 suppliers for In-Home Services through the Johnson County Area Agency on Aging in an amount not to exceed $1,416,000. The term will be for one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods.

Code of Regulations for parks and related facilities

Adopted the 2023 Code Edition of the Johnson County Code of Regulations for the Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s parks and related facilities.

Funds and contract for dechlorination system project

Conducted a public hearing and authorized funds for the construction phase of the Turkey Creek Pump Station Peak Excess Flow Treatment Facility Dechlorination System Project in an amount not to exceed $1,719,700. In a separate item, the BOCC awarded a contract with MegaKC Corporation in the amount of $1,302,946.
