The suggested donation has remained the same for Home-Delivered and Congregate meals for more than a decade and CHAMPSS since 2018; however, a proposed increase is needed due to the rising cost of the overall nutrition programs.

Home-Delivered and Congregate meals suggested donation will be $4 per lunch and $3 per breakfast. CHAMPSS suggested donation will now be $5 per meal.

No one is denied a meal if they are unable to donate. In addition to donations, meals are partly funded through the Older Americans Act and the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.
