To increase awareness in the community about services and programs offered by the Johnson County Department of Aging and Human Services, staff are available to present information on-site or virtually to community groups of all sizes.

Presentations can be tailored to your group’s specific needs speaking on a variety of topics such as aging services, low-income programs (i.e., utility assistance or food pantry), volunteer opportunities or provide a departmental overview. While our standard presentation is 30-minutes long, we can provide specialized presentations that range from 20 to 60 minutes.

AHS asks presentation requests to be made as soon as possible, ideally with a 30-day notice to secure a speaker. Requests made outside of this time frame will be accommodated as staffing allows.

To request a presentation, please visit jocogov.org/ahs and click on “Presentation Request.” The form requires the following information agency/group name, name of the person requesting the presentation and contact information, date/time/location for the presentation, size of the group and topic requested.
