A 50 Plus Back to School Lunch & Bingo is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Dr..

The community center is back open and ready to show off its redesigned space. Tours will be given at 11 a.m. for those who are interested.

The 50 Plus community is invited to join us for a nostalgic school lunch served at 11:30 a.m. and 12 games of bingo to follow.

Cost is $17 per Johnson County resident, $19 nonresidents. Cost of admission covers food (or snacks) and staff time to administer the bingo program. There is no additional charge for bingo.
