Free nutrition counseling offered for Kansans 60+

The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services is funding a statewide initiative called Kansas 60+ Nutrition Counseling.

The program provides free nutrition counseling, Wellness Wednesday classes, a Healthy Habits menu and three freezer meal prep workshops to Kansans aged 60 and above.

Participants can meet with a Hy-Vee dietitian for up to three consultations, either in-person or virtually. KDADS aims to have 400 Kansans receive nutrition counseling. So far, 99 individuals have been served.

To sign up, visit Hy-Vee.com/Health and click on Hy-Vee dieticians. Next, scroll down to the Kansas 60+ Nutrition Counseling area and click Sign Up Now. Complete the form and click Get Now to connect with a Hy-Vee dietician.
