In partnership with Johnson County’s Area Agency on Aging and K-State Research and Extension, Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s 50 Plus Program is bringing back the Aging Mastery Program in September.

AMP focuses on positivity and simple changes that can make a big difference in creating healthy habits.

The program combines goal setting, daily practices and peer support to help participants make meaningful changes in their lives. Each session is led by a trained facilitator who guides participants through activities and discussions.

The next AMP session will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, in the Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty St., Overland Park.

The cost for 10 sessions of 90 minutes each is $32 per person for Johnson County residents or $35 per person for nonresidents. Call 913-826-2830 for more information.
