Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s 50 Plus Department has scheduled a free Veterans Celebration Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty St., Overland Park.

The event will feature a patriotic celebration and a pancake-and-sausage breakfast from Chris Cakes.

Admission is free for veterans and $9 for non-veterans.
