“Seussical the Musical,” the final musical production of Theatre in the Park’s 2023 season, begins Dec. 8 at The Black Box Theatre located inside the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center, 8788 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park.

The production, which is rated G, will be presented 12 times. Each show will last about 2½ hours plus a 15-minute intermission.

Evening performances, beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are scheduled for Dec. 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22. Shows, beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and one Sunday, are planned for Dec. 9, 16, 17 and 23.

New for this year are 10 a.m. Saturday performances on Dec. 9, 16 and 23. Interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing will be present for the 2 p.m. performance on Saturday, Dec. 16.
