Festival of Trees 2023 Tickets on Sale Now
Dive into the holiday spirit with the Festival of Trees! Ticket sales are no officially open, offering you the chance to win one of our beautifully adorned festive trees. Secure your tickets for this event online or in person at the Evergreen front desk, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. until Dec. 18. Mark your calendars for the drawing on Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. You need not be present to win. Join us in spreading joy and supporting the Resident Activity Fund.
Annual Fund Drive 2023
We’re excited to announce our Annual Fund Drive 2023, and we’re painting the town (well, the neighborhoods) with love! Our goal? To give each neighborhood a fresh, colorful coat of paint, handpicked by the residents themselves. After all, Evergreen is their home, and it should reflect their unique tastes and preferences. We’re all about person-centered care, and we’re here to make each resident comfortable and happy. Your support can help us turn their dream homes into a reality.
Festival of Trees 2023
It’s that time of year to come up with a creative decorating theme for a tree! Evergreen provides the tree and you provide your artistic abilities and supplies. Undecorated trees will be available for pick up beginning Nov. 1. Contact Patricia at 913-477-8211 or PatriciaH@ecojc.org to reserve a tree. They need to be decorated and returned by 5 p.m. on Nov. 22. Trees will be on display at Evergreen from Nov. 24 through Dec. 18.
Halloween Candy Donations
Halloween is just around the corner, and we're gearing up for a spook-tacular celebration at Evergreen Community! If you'd like to spread some extra Halloween cheer, we're kindly asking for candy donations. Whether it's ghostly gummy bears or chocolate treats, your contributions will make this day extra sweet for all. Just drop off your candy donations at the front desk of Evergreen between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. any day of the sweet treats. The trick-or-treating portion of the day has been cancelled, unfortunately. Candy will be given to the residents and team members instead. Thank you for your donations.
JCYM 2023 Homes Tour & Boutique
You can support Evergreen Community and bring in the holiday season at the same time! Visit JCYM.net to purchase tickets to the Homes Tour on Nov. 9, 2023. A portion of the proceeds benefits Evergreen Community.

Wine Down for Evergreen will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 4 -7 p.m. at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center.
Sale: Spring Bazaar
April 13, 2023
Spring Bazaar, hosted by the Johnson County Young Matrons, will be held at Evergreen Community on Apr. 13-14 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Residents Life Enhancement Fund.
