A little bit about Evergreen Community!
Evergreen Community is a non-profit, serving 112 individuals in a long-term care community. Our primary mission is to provide the best possible nursing home services to Johnson County residents, including those with limited assets. We excel and lead the way in resident directed care, also known as culture change. That makes us different because we want the residents to make their own decisions and tell us how we can best care for them. They get to make their own decisions on the foods they eat, what time they get up in the morning, etc. We believe all residents deserve the best possible care and services to enhance their quality of life.

To provide consistent quality care, you must have consistent employees. We operate with one of the highest staffing ratios in Johnson County, thus promoting longevity of staff. Many of our staff have worked here for over 10 years and several have exceeded 15 years of service.
