Chief Executive Officer


Chris Osborn, RN, MBA, LACHA

Chris is a registered nurse and licensed adult care home administrator. He joined Evergreen as a GERTI Instructor in 2006. He has worked in long-term care since 2000 in various roles; CNA, Charge Nurse, Quality Assurance Nurse, and Director of Nursing. Chris served as the Chief Operating Officer at Evergreen before accepting the CEO role in 2015. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pittsburg State University and Master of Business Administration from Baker University.

Chief Financial Officer


Gene Howe

Gene joined Evergreen Living Innovations in 2015 as the Chief Financial Officer. He is a certified public accountant and has held the position of director and CFO in other non-profit organizations. His alma mater is Kansas State University where he graduated with a major in Accounting.

Chief Development Officer


Belinda Vierthaler

Belinda received her bachelors and masters degrees in social work from the University of Kansas. In 2001, she began her career in senior living as an assisted living operator.  It was during this time that she solidified her passion to ensure residents are the center of everything we do. She also has served as a nursing home administrator and executive director.  She was appointed as Kansas State Long-Term Care Ombudsman in 2009 by Governor Mark Parkinson. Her advocacy continued as she instructed future assisted living operators and nursing home administrators at Johnson County Community College.  Her most recent position, prior to Chief Development Officer, was the Community Leader at The Piper Assisted Living in Kansas City, KS.

Director of Human Resources


Lisa Orscheln

Lisa is the Director of Human Resources for Evergreen Living Innovations, Inc. She comes to Evergreen with over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources and Training & Development. Originally from Southern California, she has developed her skill set in range of industries that include education, health care, marketing and manufacturing. Lisa is fluent in Spanish and has used her bilingual abilities in all areas of her career.

Director of Life Enhancement


Brittany Blackard

Brittany is an LMSW and began her journey here at Evergreen in 2021. She has worked in hospice over the years and joined us from Advent Health Shawnee Mission Hospital.  Originally from Wisconsin, Brittany has been in the Kansas City area for about 10 years and is a KU grad. In her free time she enjoys attending Pure Barre classes, reading, and spending time with her 3 dogs and husband.

Director of Health


Ramandeep Dulku

Raman joined the Evergreen family in 2018 as the weekday night supervisor. She accepted the Director of Health role in May 2019. Raman graduated with an Associate’s of Nursing degree from Brown Mackie College. She started working in long-term care a RN where she provided care in different areas such as acute rehab, post-acute care, long-term care, dementia care, and assisted living. She loves the culture change and person-centered care philosophy at Evergreen.

Director of Dining Services


Jeff Vogelmeier

Jeff, with a 38-year background in food and beverage, started his journey at Evergreen in 2019 as an Administrator in Training. He has since transitioned to the role of Director of Dining, where he manages dining and housekeeping services. As a Certified Dietary Manager since 2004, Jeff is dedicated to enhancing the role through his active involvement with the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals (ANFP) and their efforts to redefine the scope of practice and curriculum for Certified Dietary Managers.

Barry McNelis

Barry oversees Maintenance, Transportation and Laundry along with working on our Safety Committee.
