Inmate Accounts

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with Summit to provide commissary and banking services to the inmates of the detention centers.  When an inmate is booked into the Adult Detention Center, an inmate account is created.  Money may be deposited to this account at any time while the inmate is in custody. Inmates may then use these funds to make commissary purchases, purchase phone time, pay for medical services or other programs provided by the Detention Center.

Deposits

Cash or credit/debit card deposits can be made by visiting the kiosk in the lobby of either jail.  Lobby hours are from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm daily.  You will need to know the inmate’s six-digit Criminal File Number.  This may be obtained from the staff member in the lobby.
