On Thursday, Nov. 9, the Board of County Commissioners recognized Colleen Good, volunteer with Johnson County Aging and Human Services, as the 2023 Peg Deaton Award recipient.

Every year, the Peg Deaton Award is given to recognize individuals and organizations in the community for outstanding contributions that enhance the quality of life for older adults and their families through dedication and vision. The Johnson County Commission on Aging presents this award each fall.
