Aging and Human Services hosts lunch and learns for Older Americans Month

May celebrates Older Americans Month. Aging and Human Services is offering four lunch and learn events in May, tailored for those aged 60 and above.

Lunch is provided for the attendees. The lunch and learn events include:

  • Container Gardening on Monday, May 6 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Sunset Drive Office Building, 11811 S. Sunset Drive in Olathe, KS, Rooms 1070/1075.
  • Ernie Miller Nature & Outdoors on Wednesday, May 15 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Ernie Miller Nature Park, 909 N. Highway 7, Olathe, KS, Cottonwood Room. This session will include a wildlife presentation and a 45-minute nature walk. 
  • Genealogy on Tuesday, May 21 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Monticello Library, 22435 W. 66th Street, Shawnee, KS.
  • Unspoken Symphony on Wednesday, May 29 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Sunset Drive Office Building, 11811 S. Sunset Drive in Olathe, KS, Rooms 1070/1075
