Johnson County Building Codes Inspector appointed to ICC Committee 300-2017
May 19, 2017

In April, Johnson County Building Codes Inspector, Nick Sitzman was appointed as the International Code Council’s government employee representative to the ICC Bleacher Standard Committee, ICC 300-2017. This committee is working on updating the 2012 codes to the 2017 codes for bleachers, folding and telescopic seating, and grandstands.

“ICC Committees are the foundation upon which the system of the ICC International (I-Codes), Standards, and related services are built and their importance cannot be overemphasized.” Ed Wirtschoreck, Manager of Standards for the International Code Council.
