Consumer Protection

The Johnson County District Attorney’s Office has developed the Consumer Protection Unit to educate consumers and to address complaints by consumers against area merchants. Through strong, yet fair, enforcement of the Kansas Consumer Protections Act, this unit investigates, identifies, and aggressively prosecutes deceptive and unconscionable acts committed by area merchants against consumers.
