Victim Notification

VINE is a statewide automated system providing Victim Information and Notification Everyday. It is a program provided in collaboration by the Department of Labor, Attorney General's Office and Kansas' Sheriff's Association. VINE is a solution that lets victims of crime and other concerned citizens access timely and reliable information regarding offenders.

Crime Lab Today

Our state-of-the-art laboratory is located adjacent to the County Communication Center and Medical Examiner’s Office on the Johnson County Sunset Campus in Olathe, Kansas. The 62,500-square-foot facility brings nine distinct laboratory spaces.

Crime Lab History

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office Criminalistics Laboratory dates back to 1974 and was housed within the county's Northeast Office building in Mission, Kansas.
