New Year includes new series

Johnson County Museumʼs popular Through Jan. 7 - “REDLINED: Cities, Suburbs, and Segregation” exhibit will close on Jan. 7.
Online series to focus on data privacy
Johnson County Park and Recreation District observance of Data Privacy Day on Jan. 28 will extend to a Data Privacy Week with a series of classes on how to check privacy settings on all wireless devices and more in protecting personal information.

Event rings in 2023
A 50 Plus Ring in the New Year event will take place from noon to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 30 at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Dr.
Bonfire set Nov. 1
A public bonfire bash, sponsored by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District, is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Nov. 4 at Meadowbrook Park, 9101 Nall Ave., Prairie Village.
County parks begin winter hours on Nov. 1
Winter hours of 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. go into effect Nov. 1 for many Johnson County Park and Recreation District parks. The winter hours will stay in effect through Feb. 28.
