Johnson County to host three Affordable Care Act enrollment events in January

Johnson County’s Department of Health and Environment will host three Affordable Care Act enrollment events in January. Certified HealthCare.gov navigators will be available to help individuals and families renew their existing coverage or find plans that meet their health and financial needs. Jan. 31 is the deadline to enroll.

Enrollment events dates, times and locations:
January 9
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Olathe Library-Indian Creek Branch
12990 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe

January 14
1 – 5 p.m.
Gardner Library
137 W. Shawnee St., Gardner

January 22
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Johnson County Department of Health and Environment
6000 Lamar Ave., Mission

In order to enroll, individuals must bring the following items:

  • An active email address and password
  • Birth dates and social security numbers for everyone in household
  • 2016 projected income
  • Tax information (W-2, 2014 tax return, pay stubs, self-employment records)
  • Immigration documents
  • Any information about employer-offered coverage
