Johnson County Election Office seeks workers for General Election

The Johnson County Election Office is in urgent need of 300 election workers to serve voters at Johnson County polls during the Nov. 8 General Election.

Election workers who work at a polling place are provided a stipend of at least $135 for their public service on each Election Day. 

Election workers must be registered voters in Johnson County, and:

  • Be registered in the election worker pool;
  • Complete required training for that election; and,
  • Receive a polling place assignment from the Election Office.

Workers must be available for the entire Election Day, beginning at least one hour prior to the opening of the polls. General election polls in November will open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
