Johnson County offices will be closed this Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The Board of County Commissioners will not meet on Thursday. To reduce the spread of COVID-19, the board’s next meeting by Zoom teleconferencing will take place on Thursday, Dec. 3.
We will not accept live public comments on Dec. 3. Those who wish to make a public comment for the meeting should email those comments to [email protected] before noon on the Wednesday before the Thursday BOCC meeting. Please include name and address. Comments received by noon will be shared with the entire Board prior to the meeting. Comments will not be read into the record during the meeting. Those who are unable to email the comments may call 913-715-0424 and the information will be recorded.
