
The Johnson County Treasury and Financial Management department will reopen the tax collection office located at 111 S. Cherry St., Suite 1500 in Olathe on Monday, May 11 in a limited capacity. The second installment of 2019 property taxes are due on or before Monday, May 11. In order to continue to protect the community’s health and safety and in conjunction with CDC guidelines, below are some recommendations on how to pay property taxes in Johnson County.

On April 23, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners authorized the acceptance of partial payments on second half real estate and personal property taxes due on or before Monday, May 11. A list of questions and answers about partial payments has been added to the Frequent Questions page on the county’s website.
There are many other services on the tax bill webpage that may be helpful this tax season. Taxpayers may view an electronic version of their tax statement and print off tax receipts once their payment has been processed.
