Snow is in the forecast

The National Weather Service is expecting Johnson County to see some snowfall beginning the afternoon and early evening of Friday, Jan. 14, which is forecasted to continue through Saturday, Jan. 15. 

Johnson County encourages residents to stay safe and informed, especially if they had to head out in icy and snowy conditions. The Johnson County Facilities team is working to ensure our sidewalks and parking lots are safe for those who need to visit us. Snow from parking lots is plowed at two inches. The snow is shoveled from sidewalks at two inches. Ice melt is applied as a pretreatment and after the snow have been cleared.
