510 K-10 Connector Break Service

The 510 K-10 Connector, that operates between Overland Park, KS and Lawrence, KS, will begin break service on Dec. 23, 2024.

Break service is specified on the 510 K-10 Connector schedule and includes the summer term, school breaks, and holidays.

The 510 K-10 Connector serves The University of Kansas via Central Station, KU Edwards Campus and Johnson County Community College. Central Station is the only stop in Lawrence for the 510 K-10 Connector.

The last day for 510 K-10 Connector regular service is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 20, 2024.

The 510 K-10 Connector will operate break service from Dec. 23, 2024, through Jan. 20, 2025, without service on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024, and Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day respectively.

The 510 K-10 Connector schedule has been modified to allow students, staff, and all riders ample time to board the last bus that leaves Overland Park to commute to Lawrence. The schedule modification is effective Jan. 1, 2025.

The first day of the Spring semester is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025.

487 87th Street Route Improved Schedule

The 487 87th Street route, that operates between the Lenexa City Center in Lenexa, KS and the Mission Transit Center in Mission, KS via downtown Overland Park, KS and Prairie Village, KS will operate on an improved schedule beginning Jan. 1, 2025.

The 487 schedule has been updated to better align with real-world travel conditions, ensuring greater accuracy and reliability for passengers. By incorporating adjustments based on observed traffic patterns and typical journey times, the revised schedule aims to reflect actual arrival and departure times more closely.

This change enhances the predictability of the service, making it easier for commuters to plan their trips and improve connections to other routes or modes of transportation. The modifications underscore a commitment to providing a more convenient and user-friendly transit experience.
