In collaboration with Johnson County Wastewater, the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment has lifted the public health advisory put in place on April 25, 2025, for residents and businesses between Mill Creek Apartment Pond and 1900 Kansas City Road in Olathe, due to a 10-inch sanitary sewer line break.

Water quality test results indicate that, as of May 1, bacteria levels have returned to normal. The advisory was extended past May 1 out of an abundance of caution.
