Oct. 12, last day to register to vote, update voter registration

Election Day for this year’s local election is Tuesday, Nov. 2, but mark your calendar for these important dates ahead in October.

Tuesday, Oct. 12 – Last day to register to vote (or update your voter registration)
Wednesday, Oct. 13 – Advance voting by mail begins
Saturday, Oct. 23 – Advance voting in person begins at eight locations
Tuesday, Oct. 26 – Last day to apply to vote by mail
Tuesday, Nov. 2 – Election Day (polling places open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

This year’s election is a local election, which means city, school district, and other local offices will be on the ballot. You can see your sample ballot at voter.jocoelection.org.
