To conduct annual staff training, Johnson County's Motor Vehicle offices will be closed to the public on Monday, Oct. 12, 2026. These offices include:

• Mission Motor Vehicle at 6000 Lamar Ave., Suite 100
• Olathe Motor Vehicle at 782 N. Ridgeview Rd.

Other Treasury, Taxation and Vehicles offices will remain open on Oct. 12, including Treasury, Taxation, County Clerk and County Recording at 111 S. Cherry St., Suite 1200.

The motor vehicle offices provide service to residents who are seeking to register and title vehicles or renew their registrations. Offices to obtain and renew drivers’ licenses are not operated by Johnson County and are unaffected by this closure.

Customers may renew their registrations online at ikan.ks.gov, or by mail.

The Motor Vehicle offices will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
