Beginning Monday, March 3, 2025, Johnson County Transit’s 402 route will be indefinitely rerouted to avoid construction associated with the 18th Street bridge replacement project.

The 18th Street bridge will be closed through construction and the new bridge is expected to open by fall 2027.

During the reroute, the 402 will utilize Metcalf Avenue/US-69 to connect to the 47th Street Transit center located at 849 N. 47th Street in Kansas City, KS.
