Johnson County Mental Health Center will host its 16th annual Youth Leadership Summit tomorrow, Oct. 11 at the Olathe Community Center.

The event brings together students from Johnson County’s middle and high schools to learn more about leadership and advocacy skills and alcohol, tobacco and substance use prevention strategies.

Over 100 student leaders from all six Johnson County school districts are expected to attend tomorrow’s event, which will be the largest Youth Leadership Summit since 2019.

The activities throughout the day will help each school’s team build an action plan that can be implemented in their school and community.
