JCDHE walk-in vaccination clinics aim to prevent illness and school absences
With the first day of school less than a month away, the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment is offering three walk-in vaccination clinics to help students, from preschool through 12th grade, get caught up on the shots they need to attend school and stay healthy.
These convenient clinics provide all recommended and required immunizations for the 2025–2026 school year, protecting students from serious diseases like measles, whooping cough and meningitis.
Under Kansas Department of Health and Environment guidelines, students must be up to date on vaccinations to attend school and participate in school activities. These clinics aim to make compliance simple and stress-free for families.
“Back-to-school season is already busy enough—our clinics take the stress out of vaccinations,” said Charlie Hunt, department director. “We’re here to help families knock this off their list early, so students stay healthy and ready to learn.”
