Gardner Library interior to close for improvements Wednesday, Oct. 5

The interior of the Gardner Library will Wednesday, Oct. 5 for construction of improvements, including roof replacement, updates to plumbing and mechanical systems, and repaving.

The library is expected to be closed until mid-December. The Johnson County Library will provide more information once it knows an exact reopening date.

Library visitors may continue to return materials to the exterior return bin, located in the alley to the rear of the building, while the interior is closed.

Curbside Holds Pickup will be available during normal operating hours Monday, Oct. 10 through early December. The location of the dedicated Curbside parking stalls will shift a few stalls to the right to accommodate construction equipment in the parking lot.

For access to the library collection, public computers and meeting/study rooms, please visit one of the other 13 Johnson County Library locations or the Olathe Public Library. Thanks for your patience while this work is completed at the Gardner Library.
