County Auditor's Office releases performance audit on Sheriff's Office bonding process
Johnson County’s County Auditor's Office has conducted a performance audit on the Sheriff's Office Bonding process, highlighting opportunities to strengthen control and improve efficiency.
This performance audit evaluated the bonding process and determined the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office designed and implemented procedures to effectively manage and administer this process. It noted opportunities to improve efficiency in staff used in the bonding process and that cash handling duties were not segregated.
