Area Agency on Aging Neighborhood Centers Temporarily Closed

In light of the recent Covid-19 surge in Johnson County and to limit exposures Aging & Human Services will temporarily close the Neighborhood Centers, effective Tuesday, January 18th. There will be no on-site dining. A ‘grab and go’ lunch option will be available to residents by calling the Neighborhood Centers by 10 am the day before to request a meal.  A hot meal is available to anyone aged 60+ and their spouse Monday – Friday.

The suggested donation for a meal is $3.00. People younger than 60 years are also welcome to order a meal but must pay the full cost of the meal. Donations can be made online. Additional information about the Neighborhood Centers including locations and phone numbers are located on our website. A plan to resume on-site dining is tentatively set for Monday, February 28th.

The closure does not affect the Home Delivered Meals program. Volunteers will continue to pick up meals at their designated center.
