After closing for a short time due to the winter COVID-19 surge in Johnson County, the Area Agency of Aging's Neighborhood Centers are now back open.

As part of the agency's Nutrition Services, Neighborhood Centers are open to all older adults ages 60 and older to enjoy a meal and opportunities to socialize. There are seven Neighborhood Centers located throughout Johnson County.

Neighborhood Centers are open 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A hot lunch is available Monday through Friday, and breakfast is also offered Tuesday through Thursday.

Hot lunches are served daily at 11:30 a.m. Call the Neighborhood Center by 10 a.m. the day before to make a reservation.
