Join us for a public information workshop regarding changes to the Comprehensive Land Use Compatibility Plan, related to the Johnson County New Century AirCenter.

The workshop will take place at the Community Room at the Gardner Justice Center, 16540 S. Moonlight Road, Gardner, KS, from 6-8 p.m. It will be an open house format.

Airport Land Use Plan Update

Johnson County is updating the land use compatibility plans for both the Johnson County Executive Airport and New Century AirCenter. These two airports are located in areas where significant growth has occurred in recent years.

A primary objective of the plan updates is to reflect current conditions and plan for future growth and development around the airports, while preserving the airport’s function and operations from the encroachment of incompatible development.
